About me
I'm Dylan Kerr, and I currently live in the sunny state of Arizona. As a multidisciplinary designer, I'm passionate about the profound impact of good design. I constantly strive to push the boundaries of conventional thinking, aiming to create solutions that genuinely help people and enhance their experiences.
As an individual, I am a lifelong learner, always eager to expand my knowledge and skills. I pride myself on being an excellent communicator and collaborator, adept at fostering strong relationships. I'm particularly skilled at bridging the gaps between design, engineering, and business, ensuring seamless and effective project execution.
So far, my career has spanned diverse roles in design, development, and strategy. Across these experiences, my consistent focus has been innovating and designing optimal user experiences. I'm actively seeking new career opportunities, locally, remote, hybrid, or with relocation.

BSI Group
Product Designer / Innovation Analyst
June 2021 – Sep 2021
NASA, Marshall Space Flight Center
AR / VR Design Intern
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, I landed a remote internship where I developed virtual reality applications for remote collaboration. I integrated a networking engine API for cross-platform VR compatibility, conducted usability tests on 3D interfaces for astronaut training, and delivered a multiplayer VR experience deployed across multiple NASA bases to improve their operations.

The Luminosity Lab
Industrial Designer
While pursuing my graduate degree, I worked for an experimental lab within ASU. There, I mentored design students through workshops that produced portfolio-ready case studies, designed interactive robotics lessons to improve STEM accessibility, and developed CAD models for various mechanical projects. I also partnered with external organizations like Starbucks and the U.S. Air Force, creating web applications for customer engagement and prototyping mixed reality interfaces to streamline operations.
